Lights Camera Mattresses!

Well for 1 week back in October 2022 we turned our lil sleepy mattress store @ Packards Corner in Boston into a thrilling Hollywood blockbuster movie set starring Liam Neeson, Ron Pearlman & many others in the up coming new movie called “Thug” now recently changed title to “Absolution”

Not only was it probably the most incredible week we’ve ever had in the store ( I’m not talk’n sales) but they were also just the nicest people to have worked with, which in the end always makes things nice. Well worth moving 300 mattresses around in our warehouse. Besides bringing attention to Packards Corner, a very forgotten region of Boston landscape but also a right of passage for most whom first move into the area for college.

When “Absolution” comes out next month we will finally get to see how they shot xyz scenes outside the store, inside the store & in our warehouse. Boston Bed signage also gets a cameo in the movie as well as tons of our mattresses. From the director all the way down to the people working in the snacks room it was a well run machine. Things could not have gone any smoother.

Look bottom line we’re a small local family business with a factory right here in good olde Brockton, Mass producing our own mattresses & while we don’t have a public relations dept we just thought it might make for a fun read…

 

P.S…2 of the people in the photo below are famous in Hollywood & the other 2 people are very famous at Boston Bed:) lol
